Fourth Of July

Hi everyone! Can you guys believe that the 4th is only TWO days away?! I swear, Christmas was just yesterday. As bittersweet as the Fourth can be (as it marks the downward spiral of summer, for me anyway) I'm extremely excited for this weekends festivities and wanted to them with you all!

The Fourth of July is always an exciting holiday as my parents host a huge bash, and to make it even more exciting and special, my boyfriend who lives about six hours away is coming to visit for the weekend!! It's safe to say I am beyond ecstatic! This is going to sound pretty sad seeing as we've been together for almost two years now, but this will be our first holiday spent together. The distance usually halts us spending any actual holiday together, so I guess you could say this weekend is a pretty big deal to us!

Saturday we'll be the spending the day out at family's lake house. We haven't had a great start of summer where I live, unfortunately I haven't gotten to spend much time at the lake, so I'm really excited to finally take the boat out (even more excited that my lovely boyfriend will be there as well!). Also, my boyfriend is a huge Marvel geek and he's been wanting me to see Captain America 2 with him, so hopefully we will get to finally do that Saturday night!
