Extreme Makeover: Bedroom Edition

For the last week now, my parents and I have been completely revamping my room at home. As sad as this is to say, I've never had my room done before. It's always been very boring, plain white walls, basic bedding, so I was extremely excited to finally get this done! Almost every time I'm in Target, I'm admiring the adorable home decor they have, so I obviously took this opportunity to go crazy. I wanted to share with y'all some of the cute things I've found! 

Xhilaration Textured Comforter Set

I fell in love with this comforter set as soon as I saw it! I wanted something simple, but not too boring. This is exactly what I was looking for! The ruffles add a perfectly chic touch to it! Click the link above to check it out!

Juliette Tufted Headboard

I came across this adorable headboard on Sarah Belle's YouTube Channel, I fell in love and just had to have one of my own. I'm so excited for this to come in the mail! Check it out on target.com (plus side, they're on sale until July 5th!!)

Mix & Match Lamps

 

Target has the cutest selection of mix & match lamps! I couldn't find the exact picture of the shade I had gotten, but it has a hint of glitter in it and accents the lamp perfectly! (Pictures of everything coming soon!!)

It's no secret that I'm obsessed with purses. I guess you could say that I'm a a bit of a purse hoarder. I can't get enough of them! Every one has their thing, whether it be shoes or jewelry, mine just happens to be handbags! Anytime I get a bit of extra money, 99% of the time my first purchase is a new bag. Summer Wishlist

1. Givenchy Earring

I found these while browsing at Macy's the other day! They're absolutely gorgeous and only $42. How can you pass that up for Givenchy?

2. JCrew Sandals

I've been seeing these sandals everywhere: Twitter, Catalogs, Pinterest, etc. and it is safe to say that I am obsessed! Every time I check the website they're out of my size, so as soon as I catch them, I'm definitely getting myself a pair!

3. Tory Burch Kerrington Crossbody
Tory Burch + Polka Dots = To. Die. For. Crossing my fingers I'll be able to get my hands on this beauty!

4. Lilly Pulitzer Garnet Hill Bedding
Lilly Pulitzer bedding, every preppy girl's dream bedroom. Unfortunately, it costs your soul and your first born baby for a set, but I'm hoping I can do some convincing for this (AKA early birthday present. Hint hint, mom and dad!)

Summer Favorites Pt 1

Summer has creeped up upon us. How it is almost mid-June already, I don't even know. Although, I feel like I'm saying the same thing every month. What better way to kick off the start of summer than sharing with y'all some of my go-to summer favorites/essentials. To keep this post short, I'll be posting some more of my summer favorites over the next few days!

1) J.Crew Chino Shorts

What's a summer wardrobe without J.Crew Chinos? Chino is basically a fancy word for cotton, so these shorts are nothing short of comfortable (hands down the most comfortable pair of shorts I have ever owned)! 2) Longchamp Le Pliage Tote

This one of my absolute favorite tote bags. I use this for just about everything, pool bag, beach bag, overnight/out of town bag, or just an everyday bag. It's perfect for a summer day at the pool! You can find this at most high end department stores! (Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, etc)

3) Lilly Pulitzer You Gotta Regatta Shift

You Gotta Regatta is one of my favorite Lilly prints. The sailboats make it a perfect summer piece, even cuter when paired with white sandals or wedges! Because this is print is a few years old now, check eBay, Re-Lilly or even Rue La La for this fabulous summer piece! 

4) Steve Madden Barcley Wedges

Steve Madden is always my go-to brand for shoes, & these wedges do not disappoint. To me, they're just a little something different than your typical wedges. They look cute with just about every outfit, they're comfortable and I'm always getting compliments every time I wear them! A definite must. 

5) Ray-Ban Green Mirrored Aviators

To be honest, I used to think the mirrored Ray-Ban's were tacky. Until of course, my best friend bought a pair. They looked perfect on her, so naturally I had to steal them. I fell in love with them. My mom got me my own pair for my birthday and I haven't worn any other sunglasses since! These will definitely be a summer favorite.
